Best answer: i have recently started learning german and i would not say it was difficult. i do already speak two other languages besides my own and i will admit. As a second laguage german is harder to learn then english or french. i don't know about other languages. i had my education in germany so i should know :-).. Okay so i have to learn german next year in school (because it was the requirement for going to my school since i transferred). i've been learning french since grade 1 (i live in canada that's why ) and i'm pretty good at it and i don't know if i should take german and french next year..
I am a native english speaker, and i speak a pretty good amount of spanish. also is rocket german a good way to learn it, or would i be better off with rosetta stone?. So this fall im gonna take the basic intro class to german and wondered if it was hard. i bought a book to try and get a mini headstart on it. i'm just scared it would be hard to learn since german has an odd sounding language.. No, a lot of the words are the same as english so all you have to do is shout very loudly in an angry voice and barge into queues..... it'll help to learn.
